Refund policy

The cancellation, billing-error and statutory consumer-rights information that applies to Spendful subscriptions.

01

Cancellation

You may cancel a recurring subscription from the billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally leaves access available until the end of the paid period, unless the checkout terms or applicable law provide otherwise.

02

When refunds may apply

We will correct duplicate charges, unauthorised charges confirmed after investigation and charges caused by a material billing error. We will also honour any cooling-off, cancellation, quality or other refund right that applies under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002, or another applicable law.

Except where the law requires otherwise, cancelling a subscription does not automatically create a refund for a partially used billing period. Promotional or trial terms may include additional conditions that are shown before checkout.

03

How to request help

Email support@spendful.com from the address connected to your account. Include the transaction date, amount, subscription interval and a short explanation. Never send a password, one-time PIN or complete payment-card number. Payfast may need to process or confirm payment details, but Spendful does not need those sensitive credentials.

We will acknowledge the request, investigate the account and payment records, and communicate the outcome and any approved refund route. Refund timing can depend on the payment provider and the original payment method.

04

Complaints and statutory rights

Raise unresolved billing complaints through the Contact page. Nothing in this policy limits a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.
